On February 14th, I was in Hawaii and attended a private concert by Kelly Clarkson. Here are some bits of video I shot during the concert, to give you an idea of the concert. Kelly had just won a Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Album a couple of nights before, so she was still quite excited about that and shared some of her thoughts, have a look a the video. Here below is the video of Kelly singing ‘Because of You’ […]
Concert Photography of Maroon 5, at a private concert in Mexico for about 500 guests. Early 2011 I participated in a contest on Talenthouse; the winners would be allowed to take pictures at a Maroon 5 concert. While the smoke picture that I had entered did make it into the top (30?) that would be presented to Maroon 5 for them to select the winners, I did not win. Exactly one year later, thanks to the company Nuance Communications, I […]

Last week quebecois singer France d’Amour launched her 8th album “le Present” and presented it to fans and the press at eXcentris in Montreal. I was asked by her record company to take pictures of the event. She had invited some other Quebec artists to perform with her: Steve Veilleux from Kaïn, Clément Jacques and Imposs each joined her for one song. While getting ready and waiting for the first people to arrive, I met Steve Veilleux, and spoke with […]
St-Jean again.. Quebec’s national holiday. It always goes hand in hand with celebrations and of course: music! In 2007 I posted about the concert with Karine St-Marie, and this year I went to see Kain.. Being relatively new to Quebec, I hadn’t heard from the band before seeing them that day, and I was pleasantly surprised, the show was excellent, great songs, great music and atmosphere and it reminded me why I really like good live concerts. Here are some […]
I finally got to taking a picture of the t-shirts Widespread Panic did for their tour, with my Gemini smoke picture on it. The text reads “Her dance needs no body” If you’re interesting in buying this t-shirt, you can go to their merchandise website. Or if you want another t-shirt design with one of my smoke pictures, let me know.
‘Gemini’ touring soon… The southern rock / jam band Widespread Panic (sold over 3 million CD’s) has purchased a license to print my smoke picture ‘Gemini’ on their t-shirts, to be sold on tour and probably on their website as well… From what I heard the picture will only be printed in women’s t-shirts, so no luck for the guys.More information soon, and a picture of the t-shirt as soon as it’s ready! more information on Widespread Panic: band’s website […]

The singer is Karine Ste Marie (see her myspace page here) and she performed with her band. I’ve been trying out editing with textures, you can see some of the results here… We’ll probably do a photo shoot later on this summer, so […]
